Chevy '57 '58 & '59

Hi Classmates!  Here’s a look at the New 789 Chevy!”

I thought you might enjoy looking at this unusual Chevy.  It's a '57, '58 &'59 Chevy All Rolled Into One!  This car was built by N2A motors (No Two Alike).

Unbelievable! The company is planning a production run of about 100 vehicles. It sits on a Corvette C6 chassis, front styled like a 57 Chevy, side like a 58, rear like a 59. Hence the designation, "789."

Is this is a great looking car, or What !!!

You probably need to be at least 60 or 70 years old to really appreciate this!

Roe Vs. Wade

Dear Classmates,

This is the 38th anniversary of Roe Vs. Wade. I ask you to pray for our nation this weekend and remember the lives that have been impacted by this decision.  I have attached a picture of the Virgin Mary and child Jesus.  It is my favorite depiction of this setting.  I obtained it through Covenant House Florida which is a subsidiary of the well known originalCovenant House in New York responsible for shepherding many of God's children away from the drugs, pimps and other unsavory characters prowling about for the ruin of their souls.  It draws such a strong contrast to the reality of abortion.  It is titled "Kissing the Face of God."  God Bless America.

[Rev. John Cathel Vollor was a 1960 graduate of St. Aloysius High School]

From Judy James Youngblood - "He had 5 angioplasties 20 years ago but never went for checkups or saw a doctor.  I don't think he was on any medication.  He had a persistent cough but he said it was what everyone else had and just took over the counter meds.  Christmas Eve he was very short of breath and told me he was just old...only 1 year older than I and I'm not that old to breathe like that.  That Monday he called Brother Frank and one of our parishioners took him to St. Dominic's in Jackson.  Upon evaluation, he had a leaky valve in his heart and had 5 bypasses, Emphysema and possible Diabetic (not sure about that).  His attitude was typical John Vollor, "I'm in a win, win situation.  I'll either get well and go back to work or die and go on to glory."  He always said the best day of your life is the day you die!"
