Update On Bill Jennings and Frank Howell's Improved Health

 Dear Marian et al,

I called Bill Howell just now and he had this improvement report for Frank Howell:

Frank is still in hospital in Memphis on a ventilator, but the MDs are weaning him

from the ventilator and from heavy drugs.  Yesterday he breathed on his own for

4-5 hours and this is a big breakthrough.  He continues to improve.  Because he has a tracheotomy when he is off the ventilator, he cannot speak.  Bill said this was to help his vocal cords.  So, please continue your prayers for Frank Howell and their family.

I called Bill Jennings next and HE AND ELAINE ARE HOME as of Saturday, Dec 12. Both are continuing rehab exercises.  Elaine's ankle surgery involved screws and so she can't put any weight on that foot until it heals.  She is in a wheelchair.  Bill also continues his rehab exercises.  He said that the MDs are working on his shortness of breath.  He never had a fever during the virus.  Again, Bill & Elaine are thankful for your continuing prayers and care.  He appreciates hearing from you, his friends.
