Class of 1959

We, the Class of 1959, celebrated our 50th reunion on April 24 and 25, 2009. This blog is about sharing memories of our class reunions and a long-ago life at our Alma Mater, S.F.X.A. and S.A.H.S. Good memories of days gone by but not forgotten! A gift to my classmates. ~Marian Ann Love ~

Goodbye! Farewell! Thanks!

GOODBYE!!

With a great feeling of sadness, the girls of S.F.X.A. learned of the sudden departure of Father Nicholas Filippich. We will always remember Father as a man with an outstanding personality. Good luck, Father!!!!!

FAREWELL!!

This is one of the saddest times of the year, when we must bid our beloved Seniors goodbye. It just won't seem the same without your faces being around next year. We know we have had our disagreements Seniors but we have had our fund too. That we will not forget. We hope that we, in the year to come, came make an impression on the Juniors and the rest of the school, as you have on us. Goodbye and God Bless You! Please remember us, the juniors of '56, for we shall never forget you!

THANKS!!

This small space is inadequate to express the deep feeling of love and appreciation for all the Sisters have done. They have made this year, '56, one that we will never forget. We are sorry for all the trouble and worry we have caused you in the past. We hope that next year finds us all with resolutions to be better!! We, the Juniors, want to particularly thank Sister Mary Rita, our sponsor for all she has done for us in making the Junior Year one that we never can nor will forget. (Taken from the Maryon dated May 21, 1956)
