Starting on the left was the Merchants Bank, the Catholic Church rectory, St. Paul Catholic Church, First Baptist Church and the telephone building. In the background is the Colbert Hotel, better known as the Carroll and in later years as the Jefferson Davis. The photo was given by Marjorie McCord Strickland to the Old Court House Museum.
