Class of 1959

We, the Class of 1959, celebrated our 50th reunion on April 24 and 25, 2009. This blog is about sharing memories of our class reunions and a long-ago life at our Alma Mater, S.F.X.A. and S.A.H.S. Good memories of days gone by but not forgotten! A gift to my classmates. ~Marian Ann Love ~

Visiting Classmate & Retreat Area

Yesterday, we took a road trip to Greenwood, Mississippi to visit our classmate, Ina Lott Whittington, who moved there last August. We all went out to eat at The Crystal Grill and had a great time.

Left to right:  Myself, Marian Love Phillips, Sue McNamara Fowler, Myrtle Loviza Alvarado and Ina Lott Whittington. While there we road around Greenwood checking out a town with nine bridges crossing the Yazoo River.

We also visited Locus Benedictus - "A Place of Blessing" which is a retreat area under construction.  I'm letting the pictures speak for themselves of this beautiful/peaceful place in the heart of Delta.
