Lucille Blackledge Logue (11/14/1931 - 6/4/2015)
Born November 14, 1931 in Sandersville, MS, she was a graduate of Agricola High School. She was employed as a Public Affairs Specialist for the Waterways Experiment Station and the Jackson District Recruiting Command. In "retirement" she was president of her own furniture factory near Tupelo, a very successful realtor on the Gulf Coast and later with Jones and Upchurch in Vicksburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hopp and Tressie Lucille Waldrop Blackledge; her husband, Louis Harold Logue, Sr.; all of her siblings and a granddaughter, Lori Roberts.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Logue of Tioga, TX; her 3 sons, Louis Logue (Class of 1959) (Wanda) and Michael Logue (Becki) both of Vicksburg and Keith Logue (Susan) of Longview, TX; and 6 Grandchildren Amanda Boone (Jonathan),Adam Logue (Rachael), Kimberly Logue, Kyle Logue, Layne Logue, and Dawn Lundien (Matthew). 10 Great-Grandchildren Ella Kate Boone, Amelia Jo Boone, Lily Logue, Emma Logue, Brigitte Nichols (Tanner), Brandon Roberts (Courtney), Brian Roberts, Josh Lundien, Forrest Logue, Hanna Lundien.
Family graveside services were held at 4:00 PM Saturday, June 6, 2015, in Cedar Hill Cemetery with Louis Logue officiating.
There was no visitation.
Honorary pallbearers were the Staff of Heritage House, the ICU team at River Region, Drs. Lee Giffin, Calvin Masterson, Mac Jarmon and the staff of Jones and Upchurch Real Estate.
Memorials to favorite charity. Glenwood Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
