Class of 1959

We, the Class of 1959, celebrated our 50th reunion on April 24 and 25, 2009. This blog is about sharing memories of our class reunions and a long-ago life at our Alma Mater, S.F.X.A. and S.A.H.S. Good memories of days gone by but not forgotten! A gift to my classmates. ~Marian Ann Love ~

~ On Wednesday, July 16, 2008, we held our very first 50th Class Reunion Meeting and was very productive. Only six classmates attended but I think everyone will be pleased with the plans. They are tentative now but we will be keeping you informed by letters, e-mails, fliers and Class of 1959 blog, prior to the date. We will also be meeting periodically to continue with making our plans and discussing other matters. There will be homecoming festivities sometime in October at which time we will attend Mass on Friday morning and there will be a reception for us afterwards. We will attend the Homecoming football game that night and be recognized at that time. We do not have definite dates but will know in the next few days. We know everyone will not be able to come to both activities but some should be able to come to one or both events. Our big weekend will be a Friday night 'Icebreaker' at the end of April and the Alumni Banquet Saturday night and other festivities we are planning. We will be in touch with everyone as we get a better knowledge of all the exact dates. There is a lot of work involved in this so we ask for prayers from all of you to help us make this a very memorable event. (Courtesy of Vera Marshall Brown)
