After graduation from Saint Francis Xavier Academy (SFXA) in 1960, Ann attended Hinds Junior College for two years. She then went on to the University of Southern Mississippi, majoring in Fine Arts for two more years. Upon, leaving Mississippi in 1966, she started flying as a stewardess (long forgotten term) for Eastern Air Lines in Miami, Florida. She had a VERY brief marriage in 1970, divorced a year later. In 1973, she met her present husband, and the absolute love of her life, Bruce Gilman. They lived in Vicksburg until 1977. Bruce was hired by Air California in January of 1978 and they moved to Irvine, CA. Air Cal was bought by American Airlines in 1978 and Bruce retired as a Captain in 2002. She started flying corporate jets in California and was hired by Jet America Airlines in 1981. Jet America was bought in1987 by Alaska Airlines, and she has been with them for 27 years. Bruce and Ann have kitties, but no kids. She said that life has been good for both of them all these years. She is truly blessed!!
