Dear Sisters and Students:
The time has come again for the initiation of the Juniors into their job of putting out their first Maryon. It is customary for us to bid you farewell through our school paper, and it is with mixed emotions that we bid you adui. We have enjoyed working on the Maryon Staff. It gave us a sense of pride seeing our own articles and dummies typed, stenciled, and compiled into the Maryon.
To the new Co-Editors, Joyce and Betty Rose, and to the whole new staff, we send congratulations. Under their able leadership, we know that the Maryon will have a successful year. So Good Luck girls, and don't get discouraged.
Soon the Seniors will put on their caps and gowns and take leave of S.F.X.A. Even in the midst of presents and parties, book-reports and exams, we find ourselves thinking frequently of the teachers and friends we are leaving behind.
We would like to take this opportunity to say farewell to the students. Throughout high school you have been the best examples of loyalty and true friendship. We've had a good time with you, girls, and we're going to miss each and every one of you!
To the sisters we'd like to express our sincere gratitude for all they have done for us. When we meet and, with the help of God's grace, are able to answer the challenges that will come later, we will know that we would never have amounted to anything without your help. Thank you, sisters.
Merrily we've rattled on, and now we're rattling out!
Love you all,
Bea and Delia
