Food Events

Food events part of VCS’ Play-A-Day

Vicksburg Catholic School’s 40th annual Play-A-Day-In-May-Away will include two food events.


The festivities will kick off at 5:30 p.m. April 30 with catfish dinners for sale. Ticket prices will be announced.


On May 1, a barbecue cook-off will be at 2 p.m. The fee to enter is $50 per category per team.

• Knights of Columbus Fish Fry — Fundraiser for Haven House Family Shelter; 6-7:30 p.m. Friday; dine-in or carryout at KC hall off Fisher Ferry Road; $8: includes fried or grilled catfish.
