Class of 1959

We, the Class of 1959, celebrated our 50th reunion on April 24 and 25, 2009. This blog is about sharing memories of our class reunions and a long-ago life at our Alma Mater, S.F.X.A. and S.A.H.S. Good memories of days gone by but not forgotten! A gift to my classmates. ~Marian Ann Love ~

Remembering Charles B. (Trey) Kitowski

I came across this post on Cynthia Davis Martin's Facebook page last night of our classmate, Theresa Martin Kitwoski, and Chuck's son (Charles B. (Trey) Kitowski) who gave his life for our country.  I wanted to share this with you today.  Click on Trey's name to read about a fallen hero.

Thirteen years ago today a family lost their only child.

Thirteen years ago today a fiance lost her love.

Thirteen years ago today the world lost a wonderful man who felt a calling to serve.

Pause for a minute to be thankful for your freedoms.  They don't come free.

(Cynthia Davis Martin's husband is Gene Martin and the brother of Theresa)

all gave some and some gave all..
The entire nation seems to forget why we all have the freedom we have.
We need to go back to a mandatory draft so our younger generation can see what freedom is really about.
