The entire action of the play takes place in the living room of "The House of the Whispering Pines," a hunting lodge located in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains.
Characters: Letha Eddy, his bride played by Glenda Betts, Mrs. Marion Gaylord, Jack's determined aunt played by Kay Stewart and Jerome Larkin, Letha's uncle and guardian played by Michael Hosemann. Standing: Jack Eddy, a nervous young newlywed played by Paul Hosemann (deceased), Jessica Hollingsworth, a society debutante played by Joy Canizaro (deceased) and Herbert Harlow, a friend of Letha's played by Bill Jennings.
