Bill Howell ~ A few things that I obtained from my education by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart are: (1) an excellent education that was slanted toward engineering and the sciences; (2) a strong religious experience and a commitment to athletics; (3) toughness -- they were fair, but demanded that we show respect and behave properly; (4) they introduced me to handball, which I played for many, many years until my knees went South.
