Her favorite teachers were: First Grade: Sister Cyrena who was so kind and loving; Eighth Grade: Sister Mary John who made coming to school interesting and fun; High School: Sister Mary Rita who always challenged us to think. She also have fond memories of Sister Mary Elise and Sister Mary Annunciata.
A few things about her life: She married James (Jimmy) Hossley on May 29, 1965. They have 3 children and 7 grandchildren--2 boys and 5 girls. She taught school full time for 24 1/2 years and part time for 2 years. She is retired now from Vicksburg Catholic School (St. Al/St. Francis) where she taught 21 years full time and 2 years part time.
Her grandchildren bring her great joy. She babysits her daughter Margaret's 3 girls on a regular basis. They are no longer babies but the two youngest--Elise and Anne Stewart (7 and 8) still require attention. Margaret's oldest, Ashleigh, is 13. They all attend VCS. She enjoys her other grandchildren whenever she can. Marcia's three (Rob-7, Meg-5, Mary Elizabeth-3) live in Shreveport, LA now and are moving to North Carolina at the end of the school year. Matt's son James is 5 and attends preschool, and they live in Vicksburg also. Anita and her husband, James, (Jimmy) resides in Vicksburg, MS. E-mail: anitahossley@aol.com
